Product code 7LT02
Description
  • Organic produce.
  • Greyish brown speckled lentil.
  • Remain firm when cooked.
  • High in protein and iron.
  • Deeper, earthier flavour than other lentils.
  • Packed in Sussex.
  • 500g pack.

Thanks to their chunky juicy texture, these lentils make an excellent filling ingredient in salads, soups, stews and work fantastically when cooked with onions, spices, mushrooms and lemon juice.

Directions

Add lentils to boiling water and cook for 30 minutes, or until tender. Pressure cookers will soften the lentils in a much quicker time. You could also add these lentils straight to liquidy meals like soups or stews that are on a constant heat for half hour or so. These do not require pre-soaking.

Ingredients
Organic French-type lentils.
