Keeping your kids active is essential for a healthy lifestyle. On average you should be aiming to give your kids at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily. Itís easy for you to get in on this, though. Just make sure to play with your kids and all of you will get your exercise requirements sorted!
What does a healthy diet for kids consist of?
With a high level of activity, you need to make sure that your kids are properly fuelled for the day. That starts by making sure they have a healthy breakfast, and keeping them away from unhealthy snacks during the day. - at least 5 portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables every day

- some milk and dairy products (choose low-fat options where you can)
- some foods that are good sources of protein, such as meat, fish, eggs, beans and lentils.
