Product Ingredient Disclaimer
Please note that for all brands except Sussex Wholefoods, we are the retailer - not the manufacturer. Whilst we are constantly in the process of researching, updating and improving our content, tags and product information, it may sometimes be the case that the manufacturers change the description, ingredients or production practices without our knowledge. For the most current information, always read the ingredient label on the actual package before using/consuming any product. If you have severe food sensitivities or allergies, you should always contact the manufacturer directly to confirm the safety of the product for your situation.
Please note that for all Sussex Wholefoods bulk products, you are required to contact us to find out more accurate information regarding the country of origin and use by date. If you require a certain country of origin or a certain best before date, contact us prior to purchase.
Please note that photographs on product pages are meant as a guide, not a guaranteed indicator of what you will receive. Product packaging and ingredients may be changed/updated by the manufacturer, and although we strive to keep our pages updated, packaging and other details may be displayed on the website which haven't yet been updated. Also, with natural products, it is common to have variations in colour, size and other characterististics.
We cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of ingredient or nutritional information or the product descriptions we provide, nor liable for any adverse reactions caused by the products that we sell and do not manufacture.
We sell many plant-based whole foods, so please be aware that while our suppliers have very sophisticated ways of detecting and removing foreign bodies, very occasionally there may be fragments of shell, sand or small stones in packets. Please ensure you check for these before consuming.
Please note that all of our products are labelled with relevant tags. If something is labelled as guaranteed gluten-free – this means that it has been tested and certified as gluten free, for which the threshold is less than 20ppm (parts per million) gluten. It has also been packed in an environment which doesn't process gluten.
If something is labelled as naturally gluten-free – this means that the product either does not naturally contain gluten, or is made without any gluten containing ingredients, but has not been tested and therefore certified as gluten free. This applies to foods that are naturally gluten-free such as dried prunes or cashew nuts. Many products we sell are manufactured/packed in the same facility as other products which contain various allergens and have disclaimers mentioning this on the packaging. If you are in doubt over whether a product is safe for your particular allergy, please contact us prior to buying.
Our goal is to help source the best products for you, our customers. We thoroughly research each and every product prior to listing them. However, if on the rare occasion you discover an error or incomplete information about a product on this website, please tell us about it. You can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or via the contact form found here.
