Cooking Instructions:

1. Rinse the barley in a fine-mesh sieve.
2. Combine 1 cup of barley with 3 cups of water or broth in a saucepan.
3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45-50 minutes, or until tender.
4. Drain any excess liquid and fluff with a fork.
