Goji berries, sometimes known as Wolf Berries are bright red berries packed full of Vitamin C, Vitamin A and amino acids. They make a tasty alternative to raisins and sultanas. Gojis have a gentle sweetness with a chewy texture making them a satisfying snack either on their own or as part of a fruit and nut mix. The berries can also be soaked and will become soft and plump. The berries make a bright and healthy garnish for both sweet and savoury dishes.
Goji berries can clump together because of moisture and humidity, which causes their natural sugars to spread out and act like a glue. This is a normal occurrence and the berries are still safe to eat.
To separate them, place them in the refrigerator for a few days or shake the container. You can also prevent future clumping by storing them in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight and heat, or by freezing them in a flat layer.
