Dried hawthorn berries are small, ruby-red fruits with a pleasantly tangy flavour and a long history in European and Asian culinary traditions. They are most commonly brewed into teas and infusions, or simmered down into syrups, compotes, and preserves. Their tart, slightly sweet taste pairs well with other botanicals such as rosehips, hibiscus, and cinnamon.
These whole dried berries are carefully sourced and packed at our facility in Sussex, UK. They are easy to store and make a wonderful addition to the pantry for anyone who enjoys making their own herbal tea blends or experimenting with traditional recipes.
