Wheat Bran is suitable for mixing into to cereals for extra roughage (add around 1 dessert spoon per bowl) or add to bread dough, scones and other baking recipes.
Wheat bran is very high in fibre. It also contains a broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals. It is high in Folic Acid, Niacin, and Choline as well as Manganese, Magnesium, Selenium, Phosphorus and Iron.
Wheat bran is from a completely different part of the wheat gran than wheat germ. Wheat bran is from the outer layers of the grain, whereas wheat germ is from the very core.
