Our Organic Italian Black Rice is fantastically high in protein compared to brown or white rice and it will add a unique colour to your recipes and meals. Black rice has antioxidants, such as lutein and zeaxanthin, which can help support your retina health. It has a similar taste to brown rice, however there is also a slightly sweet flavour at the end of each bite.
Because of this flavour combination it makes black rice perfect for both sweet and savoury recipes, like porridge, fried rice, desserts, burritos, and traditional Chinese black rice cake.
