Coconut Palm Sugar has a beautiful caramel colour and flavour which is very similar to Light Muscovado sugar. It is made from the nectar collected from the blossoms of the coconut palm. Less is normally required in recipes to achieve the same level of sweetness as cane sugar.
This crumbly, butterscotch-tasting natural sweetener is perfect for any sweet baking, particularly biscuits. Coconut sugar is also an ingredient used in both Thai and Malaysian curries/stir-fries.
