Dried Comfrey Leaves (Symphytum officinale)
Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) is a perennial herb with large, broad leaves. The dried leaves can be brewed as a herbal infusion, producing a gentle flavour similar to green tea with a slightly minty fragrance. They can also be blended with lavender and thyme. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Using a level teaspoonful of comfrey leaves per cup, make a brew in in a mug or teapot. Leave for 5 minutes, then strain.
