Rude Health's Sprouted Whole Buckwheat Flour is made from finely milled sprouted Buckwheat. Sprouting is a process that involves soaking grains. This wakes the grains, which start to sprout. Enzyme activity breaks down growth inhibitors, transforming and multiplying nutrients into their more easily digestible forms.

Buckwheat has a nutty flavour that lends itself to both sweet and savoury recipes. It is naturally gluten-free making it an ideal substitution in baking for traditional wheat flours. We love using buckwheat flour in Blinis - these little pancakes are popular across the world!
