Jasmine rice is a delicately-flavoured rice. It actually has nothing to do with the jasmine plant at all, but is from a rice species that has a slight fragrant aroma that works well with Thai food. This brown jasmine rice is unprocessed for maximum health benefit, and the rougher texture is great for maximum flavour-absorption.

how to cook rice. The traditional way is to put the rice into a saucepan with a lid, cover with around 2cm of water above the rice and bring to the boil. Turn down the heat and leave to steam until the water is gone.
