Rose hips, also known as rose haw or rose hep, grow in the spring and early summer after successful pollination. By the autumn rosehips are generally ripe enough so this is when they're harvested, dried and cut into the desired grades. Our fine cut rosehip is commonly used for making a herbal tea, or a herbal tea blend, but this can also be used for cakes, desserts and various baking recipes (either for flavour, decoration, or both!).
You can also use our fine cut rosehip for making seasonings, sauces, syrups and jellies. Rosehip pairs fantastically well with citrus flavours, and it has a fruity, sweet and sour flavour palette.
This product may be sent to customers in the same form it arrives from our suppliers. If this is the case, it is not opened at our facility. Packaging methods and materials may vary - all food safety laws are strictly adhered to. Please contact us for more information.
