Description
  • Pure, dried lemon verbena leaves.
  • Add to normal loose black tea instead of lemon.
  • Use in cooking to lend a lemony flavour to fish, poultry and vegetable dishes.

A versatile herb, which as the name suggests has a lemony flavour. Commonly used to make a refreshing herbal infusion, Lemon Verbena can also be used as a cooking herb.

Directions
To make verbena tea: put a small handful of verbena leaves into a cup. Pour in boiling water and leave to infuse. You can also do this in a teapot, with a strainer, if you prefer.
