Strawberry Spread

Frutteto means 'orchard' in Italian as it is in the Tuscan hills near Florence that we make our healthy jams. We use handpicked, fully ripe, organic strawberries sourced mainly from our local orchards. Of artisan quality, we cook our Strawberry jam gently at low temperature, in small batches to preserve the fresh strawberry flavour, vitamins, minerals, fibre content and aroma. Unlike the traditional way of cooking jams and conserves, which can destroy the goodness with harsh heat. Fresh strawberries boast so many nutritional virtues: highly antioxidant with more vitamin C than citrus fruits (just 5 strawberries match an orange), also high in potassium, folate (vitamin B9) and manganese.
