Frutteto means 'orchard' in Italian as it is in the Tuscan hills near Florence that we make our healthy jams. We use handpicked, fully ripe, organic wild blueberries sourced mainly from our local orchards. Of artisan quality, we cook our Wild Blueberry jam gently at low temperature, in small batches to preserve the fresh blueberry flavour, vitamins, minerals, fibre content and aroma. Unlike the traditional way of cooking jams and conserves, which can destroy the goodness with harsh heat. Fresh blueberries are known as a superfood because they are highly nutritious and contain lots of powerful antioxidants. They are high in vitamins C and K and the mineral manganese which helps the body process cholesterol.
