On the hob: bring 480ml (nearly a pint) of water to the boil. Add 80g of Bob's Red Mill quick oats, reduce to a simmer and cook for 3 to 5 minutes depending on your preferred consistency. Stir occasionally. Cover and remove from heat. Leave to stand for a few minutes and serve. This recipe makes 2 servings.
Microwave: Place 40g of Bob's Red Mill oats and 250ml of water into a microwavable bowl. Microwave on high heat for 1 to 1 and a half minutes. Stir oats and microwave for a further 30 seconds. Cover and leave to stand for 2 minutes. This recipe makes 1 serving.
