Black rice is actually a variety of dark wholegrain brown rice. The grains are short, quite rounded and suitable for general culinary uses.
Nerone black rice has a deep nutty taste. It provides a substantial meal that is high in fibre and minerals. The rich flavour works well alongside cooked vegetables, fish and poultry.
Directions:
Cook rice in boiling water for 40 minutes. This rice has a firmer texture compared to typical white rice.
