Macadamia nuts are a similar size to a hazelnut but has a creamy flavour and crunchy texture similar to Brazil nuts, though slightly softer, sweeter and more 'buttery'.

Directions

Macadamias make for a tasty snack on their own, but also can be added to muesli. They are easy to crumble up (either chop them or lightly bash under a tea towel to break them up). Once in smaller pieces, they make a tasty topping for yoghurt, desserts and cakes. Macadamia nuts can also be dipped in chocolate for a sweet treat or added to flapjacks for a lovely buttery crunch.
