This is a general-purpose tofu for use in stir-fries, salads, soups and sauces. Simply from the pack and cut into chunks. Tofu is a good sauce of soya protein. Soya protein is a superb vegetable protein, containing all 8 basic amino acids. Tofu is also low in carbohydrate, fat and calories.
This tofu is quite soft, but firm enough to retain its shape when cooking. As with most tofu, it takes on the flavour of the ingredients around it.
Contains no dairy ingredients and is hence suitable for vegans.
