This coconut oil is made by squeezing freshly shredded coconut kernels and producing a liquid. This liquid separates, leaving the pure oil on the surface which it then skimmed and stored.

Healthy Coconut Oil

Because Tiana Coconut Oil has been cold pressed, it has retain all of it's natural goodness.

The fat content in coconut oil is not as scary as one might think. It contains no trans-fatty acids and does not become trans-fat even at high temperatures. There is no cholesterol in coconut oil and the fat that is present is in the form of medium chain fatty acids which contain between 42% and 57% of Lauric Acid.

Using Coconut Oil

Coconut oil can be used in all sorts of cooking. It has a low melting point, making it suitable for baking and spreading yet it's high smoking point of 180° makes it suitable for frying too!

Coconut oil can be taken by people of all ages. Those choosing to consume coconut oil as a food supplement can use 1 - 3 tablespoons daily.
