A Protein Rich Vegetarian Ingredient

Seitan or wheat gluten is similar in texture to Braised Tofu, Seitan is made from Wheat Gluten and is sometimes known as 'Mock Duck'. It is a ingredient normally used in savoury dishes. This particular Seitan is in Tamari Sauce, which adds a savoury flavour.

Seitan can be flaked into a stir-fry, roasted, baked and even deep fried.

Wheat Gluten*, Tamari Soya Sauce*, Herbs* (ginger*,curry*, paprika sweet*) (*From organic agriculture) Refrigerate after opening and use as soon as possible. (The manufacturer states on the jar that the product has 'limited tenability - we have yet to test how many days it can be kept in the fridge.)
