This packet contains a blend of flours, barley flakes, whole linseed and malt flour, which is perfect for making a healthy home made loaf or some rustic buns. There are also easy-to-follow recipes of the back of the packet.
Barley lends a distinctive flavour to bread and can be made into a lovely sour dough style loaf.
Directions
Use just as you would use regular brown flour. Typically, you would mix this flour with yeast, water, sugar and a little salt. Knead in a bowl, form into a ball, cover and leave to rise for an hour. Form into loaves or rolls and bake at 220°C for around half an hour.
