Cider Vinegar & Honey Tonic & Ingredient
Honegar is a blend of unpasteurised honey and cider vinegar made from whole dessert apples. Honegar was originally formulated as a health tonic by Dr. Jarvis of Vermont in the USA, who advocated an alkalising diet.
A popular 'dose' for good health is a tablespoon of Honegar in a glass of water twice a day. Cider vinegar is also sometimes recommended for sufferers of arthritis, although more research needs to be done to confirm whether cider vinegar has any positive effects for this condition.
We think that Honegar works equally well as a base for a simple, healthy vinaigrette dressing. This mix has no artificial colours, flavours, added sugar or preservatives.
Ingredients:
Unpasteurised Honey 50% (a blend of EC and Non-EC honeys), Cider Vinegar 50%.
