Like turmeric, black pepper contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Both turmeric and black pepper have traditionally been used in ayurvedic medicine for their health-giving properties. The piperine in the black pepper massively boosts the bioavailability of the curcumin, the active ingredient in the turmeric. The capsule is easy to take daily as a nutrient-rich superfood.
