Dry Yeast - For Bread Making

  • Makes a liquid yeast preparation for bread making.
  • Real Bread recipe on the packets reverse.
  • Gluten free, nut free, dairy free.
  • Ring-pull and plastic cap.
Dry yeast is a raising agent used mainly in bread making, although you can add to cake and biscuit recipes if you desire. However Quick Yeast may be more suitable for cakes and biscuits if the recipe calls for it.

Directions

  1. Dissolve a teaspoonful of sugar in a quarter-cup of boiling water.
  2. Add half a cup of cold water.
  3. Add a tablespoon of this yeast.
  4. Cover and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  5. The yeast mix will go frothy.
  6. Stir, then add the mix to your dough.
