Engevita nutritional yeast flakes are made from deactivated Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast and are fortified with vitamin B12. They have a naturally savoury, slightly nutty and cheesy flavour, making them a popular ingredient for vegan cooking. Use as a topping for pasta, salads, popcorn and roasted vegetables, or stir into sauces, soups and dips. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. A convenient source of B12 for vegetarians and vegans. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
