Dulse seaweed originates from the Atlantic, and is a fairly light and delicate seaweed that is good for beginners. It adds taste to many dishes, including many English or European dishes. It is quite vegetable-like.
Dulse is typically supplied dried. To reconstitute, simply soak for a couple of minutes. The dulse can then be chopped up and added to your meal.
Dulse is high in protein (around 20% on average, though figures vary) and high in minerals such as calcium, iodine, magnesium, iron and copper.
