Pure Lavender Essential Oil

This French Lavender oil [Lavandula angustifolia ] is one of the most popular of all essential oils. It has a pleasant, sweet and fruity scent.

The oil is obtained from the flowers of this plant. It has a 44% Linalyl Acetate content indicating a superior quality oil. Its overall Ester content is 50-52%, which gives this exceptionally fine oil its gentle, rounded aroma.

French Lavender is frequently used on its own or blended with Chamomile to calm and aid sleep. This pure essential oil can be used on the skin once diluted in a suitable carrier oil.

Directions

Add two drops of oil onto a tissue/ handkerchief and place under your pillow, for a restful nights sleep. Alternatively blend 3 drops of Lavender with 3 drops of Mandarin and 1 drop of Geranium in a teaspoon of Sweet Almond oil, added to a warm bath before a long, relaxing soak.
