Mulberries are a wonderful superfood with various health benefits. They're a good, natural source of iron, vitamin C, vitamin K1, potassium and vitamin E. They're also high in antioxidants, can help lower your cholesterol and improve blood sugar control. The added bonus is that mulberries are incredibly delicious and great in a multitude of recipes - or eaten alone as a snack!
Black mulberries are the most flavourful of them all, compared to white and red mulberries, and the flavour is often a balanced mixture of sweet, tart and refreshing. This makes them a great choice when added to your muesli or yogurt, or when baked into a crumble, muffins, and plenty more.
Our dried black mulberries can be used to make jam, or be added to your homemade granola mix as well. They're also a great addition to smoothies!
