Healthy Chocolate

Ombar Lemon & Green Tea bar is a delicious and nutritious way to enjoy chocolate. Unlike sugar rich, fatty chocolate bars, Ombar is different - containing only natural ingredients and is not greasy to the touch.

The Lemon and Matcha Tea Bar is sweetened with coconut sugar. This is not the same as cane sugar, it is low GI which is better than agave nectar.

The main ingredient of this chocolate, the cacao bean is recognised as a fantastic superfood. It is unroasted to retain all its beneficial properties. Raw chocolate has been linked with improving your mood and increasing your energy levels. Most importantly it contains flavonoids, which have many antioxidant properties. Similarly, green tea is also high in antioxidants.

Ombar chocolate is made using a low temperature process, in order to retain the natural goodness of the ingredients.

The Taste

The initial burst of flavour is quite tangy. As the chocolate melts in the mouth the lemon flavour comes through with a sweet lemon sorbet-like hint. A hint of green tea subtly wisps through at the end.
