Lingham's chilli sauce has been made using only fresh chillies. It is a vibrant orangey red colour and has a sweet, syrup-like base. It has a medium heat and spicy, peppery flavour. This sauce is a nice place to start if you are new to trying chilli sauce.

Using Lingham's Chilli Sauce

Linghams Chilli Sauce is a thick, sweet chilli dipping sauce. It is perfect for dipping crackers, vegetables, prawns and tempura. This can also be added to dishes such as stir fries, sweet and sour and noodles. Add as a glaze for barbeques or grilling meats such as ribs, chicken and pork. Why not try mixing with vinegar, oils, herbs and other spices to make marinades or salad dressings.

Do note:This sauce contains sugar, therefore if you are going to cook with it (such as a sweet & sour or stir fry) and want to watch the calories, we recommend you avoid adding additional sugar or other sauces containing sugar to the dish.
