Ground Nutmeg

Ready to use nutmeg powder.
Strong flavoured, similar to cloves and cinnamon.
Produced in Indonesia, ground in the UK.

This ground nutmeg has a strong, sweet perfume. It accompanies other warming spices such as cinnamon and ginger and is used in creamy puddings such as rice pudding and custard tarts. A little can also be sprinkled into mulled wine or cider. Try a pinch or two mixed into mashed sweet potato as an accompaniment to a Caribbean style curry.

This 50g packet should go a long way.
