The freeze-drying process is ideal for preserving the flavour of fresh herbs. The flavour of this basil is fresher than normal dried basil. This pack will go a long way (this pack contains enough for over 20 typical meals).
Directions for Use:
Sprinkle these basil leaves directly into your cooking. They work well with pizza dishes or pasta. In most cases, you can use them as you would use fresh basil. As long as there is a small amount of moisture in your recipe then the leaves should absorb enough moisture to reconstitute, soften and release their full flavour. If need be, you can soak them in water beforehand, but there is usually no need.
