Traditional Chios Bergamot Spoon Sweet

This delicious handmade traditional Greek bergamot compote, also known as 'spoon sweets', is made on the island of Chios. It will make the most delicious topping for yoghurt, ice cream, cheesecake and tastes fantastic added to baked fruit dishes. Tastes divine spread on toasts, scones and makes a perfect filling for cakes. In Greece it's traditionally served to house guests, accompanied by a Greek coffee.
