Basil Essential Oil for culinary use

Sweet Basil essential oil [Ocimum basilicum] can be used to flavour olive oil and other oils for dressings. The Basil flavour is highly concentrated so only one or two drops are required.

  • 100% Natural Flavouring for food. Organic.
  • Use as an alternative to fresh or dried basil.
  • Highly concentrated.
  • 10ml oil in clear glass bottle. Lasts for many meals as you only need around 0.5ml at a time.
  • Also suitable for aromatherapy & massage.

Directions

Use this basil oil as an alternative to fresh or dried basil. Simply add around 2 drops (0.5ml) to any meal for a great basil flavour. Suitable for pasta dishes, salad dressings, and many other general cooking uses.

Please note: Some labels on the essential oils state " For External Use Only”. This is a standard UK aromatherapy legal requirement. It can be ignored if oils are used for cooking as they are food grade certified.
