Directions and Uses
Asafeotida has a strong flavour and is well-suited to robust full-flavoured or spicy dishes. Uncooked asafoetida has a strong taste, so be sure to cook it thoroughly by adding it early to the dish. Use when stir-frying the onions for a curry, or for adding to meat dishes. Use just a pinch of asafoetida for quite a big flavour.
