How can we help?

My tins have arrived dented

We're sorry to hear this. We do try to pack orders so they aren't damaged en route, but tins can be very susceptible to denting. However, they are designed precisely to be able to take bashes without impairing the safety of the food inside.

The Food Standards Agency advice is that tins are designed to be robust and to last a long time, and although it is common to find cans on the shelf with minor dents, particularly in the side wall, these are unlikely to pose a problem. It is best to avoid tins which have significant compression on the side seams and round the rims as this could lead to problems if damage allows air to ingress or the contents to leak.

If this applies to your tins, at My Orders Screen you will find a form that will request all the information we need to get the issue fixed. Kindly retain all faulty goods and packaging.
