The freeze-drying process is ideal for preserving the flavour of fresh herbs. These are as close as you can get to collecting fresh Oregano from the garden in terms of flavour and aroma compared with normal air-dried herbs.

Directions for Use:

This chopped freeze-dried Oregano is easily reconstituted in cool/tepid water or alternatively add towards the end of cooking as you would fresh Oregano. As long as there is a small amount of moisture in your recipe then these herbs should absorb enough moisture to soften and release their full flavour.

Perfect for blending with other Mediterranean herbs and chopped tomatoes for flavouring ratatouille, a pizza base or sauce to accompany your favourite pasta or gnocchi.
