Erbology raw Jerusalem artichoke powder is made from whole tubers which are naturally high in inulin fibre which acts as a prebiotic. We love its mildly sweet and earthy flavour with a pleasant crunchy texture.
Jerusalem artichoke has high levels of inulin. Inulin is a soluble fibre which belongs to a group of carbohydrates known as fructans. Unlike most carbohydrates, inulin is non-digestible. It acts as a prebiotic. Through the natural fermentation process, it becomes a healthy intestinal micro flora that promotes digestion and boosts immunity. Jerusalem artichoke also contains thiamine (vitamin B1) and minerals. Thiamine is essential for the healthy functioning of the nervous system and muscles. Minerals, such as iron and copper, provide an energy kick and support hair growth.
This is not a heat processed inulin extract and won’t dissolve in liquids.
Excellent for topping breakfast bowls or baking.
