Udon noodles are the thicker sort of Japanese noodles, and commonly used in soups. Typically made with wheat, though we offer a wheat/rice udon noodle for those who like a bit of variety.  | |

Soba Noodles are a thin noodle, and the most popular noodle in Japan. They are typically made from a combination of buckwheat and wheat, though it is possible to buy 100% buckwheat noodles. Because buckwheat is not a type of wheat, noodles that are 100% buckwheat are actually wheat-free. Note that the Japanese word "soba" actually means "buckwheat".  | |
