Sesame Seaweed Salad

Our sesame seaweed salad is so simple to make, and tastes delicious. This dish is packed with umami flavours making it incredibly moorish. Enjoy as an afternoon snack or serve as a tasty side dish alongside sushi.

Add chilli flakes for an extra spicy kick! You can also stir in freshly grated carrot or thinly sliced radishes.


Other Ingredients

1 tsp fresh lemon juice


  1. Soak your seaweed for 5 minutes in boiling water.
  2. Whilst your seaweed is soaking, make your dressing. Whisk together the miso, soy sauce, mikawa mirin, brown rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil and lemon juice.
  3. Drain your seaweed and stir the dressing through, making sure the seaweed is totally coated.
  4. Sprinkle the furikake seasoning over the salad and serve!
