Savoury Pumpkin & Carrot Porridge

Organic Jumbo Oats (2kg) - Sussex WholeFoods
1/2 Cup Jumbo Oats
100% Pure Pumpkin Puree 425g (American Food Company)
2 Tbsp Pumpkin Puree
Organic Pumpkin Seeds (1kg) - Sussex WholeFoods
To Sprinkle
Onion Powder 200g (Sussex Wholefoods)
1 Tsp Onion Powder
Other Ingredients
- 175ml Water
 - 1 Medium Carrot
 
Method
- Add the oats, pumpkin puree and the water to a saucepan. Stir. Bring to a boil then simmer for few minutes, depending on how thick you like your porridge.
 - Add onion powder and cumin powder.
 - Grate or thinly slice a carrot and add to your porridge. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook for about 1 minute.
 - Sprinke with pumpkin seeds and enjoy hot.
