Other Ingredients

  • 1 fresh orange

Method

  1. Chop your dark chocolate.
  2. Place a heatproof bowl over a pan of boiling water. Add your chocolate pieces, 1tbsp cacao powder and coconut oil and, using a whisk, mix until melted.
  3. Grate, then juice your orange – you need about 3tbsp of orange juice and 1tsp of orange zest.
  4. Take the bowl off the pan.
  5. Add the orange juice, orange zest, icing sugar and cocoa powder. Mix until combined.
  6. Chill the mixture in the fridge for 20 minutes, give it a good stir and put back in the fridge for a further 20 minutes (until it’s thick enough for you to handle and roll the truffles).
  7. Place 2tbsp cacao powder on a plate and dust your fingers with cacao powder.
  8. Using a teaspoon, spoon out a small amount of the mixture and roll it into a sphere with your fingers.
  9. Roll the balls in the cocoa until coated all around.
  10. Place in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  11. Enjoy!
