TEN REASONS TO LOVE COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil is one of those truly versatile ingredients. It is an edible oil that is extracted from coconut flesh. We stock mostly cold-pressed coconut oil, which means the oil is extracted by squeezing freshly shredded coconut kernels and to produce a liquid. This liquid separates, leaving the pure oil on the surface which is then skimmed and stored.

Cold-pressing coconut oil means that it retains its natural goodness, meaning you get the full dose of nutrients! The oil can be used in lots of different ways. You can cook with it, add it to smoothies or take it as a supplement. You can also use it as a moisturiser and a hair conditioner!
