Ways to use rosemary
Rub into lamb before roasting.
Sprinkle over potatoes or add to vegetables during cooking.
Drop a handful into a bottle of olive oil and leave in the cupboard for a flavoursome infusion.
Use to flavour garlic butter or salad dressings.
Use in a bouquet garni - a French herb mixture typical containing rosemary, sage, parsley, basil and tarragon. This is used in a number of soups and sauces, including white sauce. The herbs are typically strained out after use.
Use to flavour barbecued or grilled meats.
