All food found on this page is either close to its Best Before date, or past its Best Before date, or close to their use by date (but never past!) these products are still absolutely safe to eat. The Best Before date (BBD), sometimes shown as BBE (Best Before End), is about quality and not safety. After the Best Before date listed on a product, the food will be safe to eat, but may not be at its best. Similarly products that are close to, but not past their use by dates are also safe to eat.
