This Tandoori Seasoning is easy to blend yourself.

Tandoori Spice Seasoning - Recipe

Traditional Tandoori Masala (Powder)

  • Blend a batch for your spice rack.
  • Takes 5 minutes to mix!
  • Makes the ideal mix for marinating.
  • Uses dried herbs & spices that store well.

Ingredients



  TRS Garam Masala (Ground) 100g
1 Tbsp Garam Masala.

  Hampshire Foods Spanish Smoked Paprika 50g
2 tsp Smoked Spanish Paprika.

  Fenugreek Powder Hampshire
1 tsp Fenugreek Powder.

  TRS Turmeric Powder (Haldi) 100g
½ tsp Turmeric Powder.

  TRS Chilli Powder 100g
¼ tsp Chilli Powder.

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into the container in which you are going to store the finished mix. Ensure that your chosen container is both clean and dry.
  2. Put the lid on and give the jar/container a good shake.
  3. This spice blend will keep its flavour for at least 2-3 months.
If you enjoy using this flavouring regularly then it is worth preparing a large batch. Just double or triple the quantities above as you wish.
