These sliced mushrooms are rich in flavour. They are ready to use and will rehydrate in liquid.

Dehydrated mushrooms are a convenient cupboard ingredient as they can be stored for many months and they develop an intensive flavour. They rehydrate in 10 minutes or can be added straight to a liquidy sauce or broth and left to simmer. The mushroom water is a lovely ingredient and makes a great base for sauces and soups.

Storage

Dehydrated mushrooms store for at least 6 months, provided they are kept in an air tight container. To seal the bag, a freshness clip also useful.
