Shan mixed ginger and garlic paste has been made using fresh Himalayan ingredients. It has a strong, zesty, garlicky flavour and a thick, fibrous consistency. This pre-prepared paste is a far more convenient way to quickly add ginger to a dish. It prevents the fiddly annoyance of grating or chopping the tough bulbs.
Directions
Generally between 1-3 heaped tea-spoonfuls (or 1-2 table spoons) will suit most savoury dishes, depending on your taste. If you are using ginger and garlic paste for the first time, start with one spoonful and add more if desired.
Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 3 months.
